The Alliance participates in many hands-on volunteer activities throughout the year. Members, please check your email for regular communication about upcoming service opportunities. 

Each year we support:

In the Image S.H.O.E.S program (fitting shoes for in-need elementary aged children at no cost).

Judge Gardner’s Closet, the CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) Independent Living Closet, collecting household items for young adults exiting the foster care system

Roanoke Ranch for Kids

Feeding America Peanut Butter Challenge

Hope Network Marathon volunteering

Heart of West Michigan United Way Food from the Heart packing food for 200,000 meals

Ronald McDonald House of Western Michigan creating decorations and making tasty treats

Sophia’s House on Mercy Health St. Mary’s campus cooking for patients and their families

Baxter Child Development Center leading crafts and distributing homemade cookies and gifts at our annual holiday party for children

Safe Haven Ministeries collecting items from their emergency shelter wish list for “Doctors and Their Families Make a Difference”
