As volunteers in the community, we want to take care of ourselves so that we can be consistent, strong and healthy individuals in order to better help others. To do this, we take the time periodically to focus on our own physical fitness, nutrition and mental wellness. We take group walks, do yoga together, or get together to learn about nutritious eating. We also support each other in staying fit through a voluntary private Facebook group, “Being the Best Version of You.”

Upcoming Health Promotions activities can be found on our calendar. Past events have included various walks at local parks, team participation in the Stomp Out Stigma Mental Health 5k Walk, and a Discovering Confidence, Health and Beauty seminar.
